World Apostolate of Fatima Blue Army Cadets

Contact Person:  Margie Walsh

Contact Info:  Please call the church office for contact information.

September 8th, 2011 is our 29th year.  Pray for our continued success!

Our Cadet goals are to lead children to MARY and SHE will lead them to GOD.

  1. We strive to live the formula of holiness given to the 3 children of Fatima. Example:  The 10 point Daily Spiritual Program.
  2. To understand all the essential doctrines of the Catholic Faith. Example:  Book called “Catholic TRUTH for YOUTH” Fr. Robert Fox.
  3. To be instruments of Our Lady’s Message – offer up our Daily Duty “morning offering.” Pray the Rosary DAILY; wear the brown scapular; fulfill the requirements of the FIVE FIRST SATURDAYS.

We have been registered with the National W.A.F. in Washington, New Jersey 29 years and at St. George Parish. We promote 5 first Saturdays and participating in mass, readings, and cantors. We participate in many processions, Home Enthronements, and St. George Devotions. Membership is open to all “families.”

Meetings:

  1. Every third Thursday of the month. Meeting at Walsh’s home at 5916 Carriage Hill Drive at 7 PM to 7:45 PM. We have been successful for 29 years.
  2. Meet again in the church for First Saturday Confession, Communion, and Rosary meditation on mysteries.

In addition, the Blue Army attends processions, perform a 40 hours devotion, leads the praying of the rosary, performs readings and petitions at Mass, and leads song.

To join, please contact Margie Walsh at 868-1100. This has been beneficial in years past. Thank you.

We have done every Church Ministry Program in the Gym to introduce our cadets. Our lady chose CHILDREN not only as the messengers of God’s program to bring peace to mankind, but also the Mother of God said to the Fatima Children, “Jesus wishes to use you to make me known and loved and to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart.” Devotion to Mary is a gift from God that is passed on from one generation to another.
