Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (R.C.I.A.)

The Rite of Christians Initiation for Adults is the process by which the unbaptized and people of other faith backgrounds are prepared for full communion with the Catholic Church. 

The journey to God through Jesus is not intended to be taken alone. We are called to bond together in the Church of Christ.

 

The process of RCIA affords you the opportunity to study the Gospels, learn Catholic Christian teachings, realize acceptance of Christian values and morality while developing a meaningful prayer.

 

“Come to me , all you who are weary and find life burdensome, and I will refresh you.

Take my yoke upon your shoulders and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble of heart.

Your souls will find rest, for my yoke is easy and my burden light.” 

Matthew 11:28-30.
