Confirmation

Baptism, the Eucharist, and the sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the "sacraments of Christian initiation," whose unity must be safeguarded.  It must be explained to the faithful that the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace. 89 For "by the sacrament of Confimation, [the baptized] are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit.  Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obligated to spread and defend the faith by word and deed."90 (1285 Cathechism of the Catholic Church)

Adults wishing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation are prepared through our parish RCIA program.  Please contact the parish office for more information.

When the Paraclete comes,
whom I shall send to you
from the Father, the Spirit of truth
who issues from the Father,
 He will be my witness.
And you too will be witnesses,
because you have been with me
from the beginning.
John 15:26-27
